March 4, 2018: Recipes
My new weekly Get Your Stuff Together Sunday email series will give you one actionable thing to do for the week that will make you life a little easier.
This week, in our inaugural GYSTS, we’re talking about recipes. We’ll get to meal planning next week, so don’t start mentally thinking off all of the reasons why you don’t have time to GYST today (I read your mind!). All I’m asking you to do this week is to build up a few recipes that look interesting for you to try.
As you choose recipes, be honest with yourself about your cooking skills, time to cook, and what is easiest to do. Fancy, Pinterest-perfect recipes are for another place and time. I want you to find actionable recipes that can cover your meals for a few days at a time. Think soups/chilis, stir frys, (healthy) casseroles, and bulk cooking.
Next Sunday, we’ll move on to how your can start meal planning and cooking ahead of time. This week, brainstorm, explore, and set yourself up for success.
